and in the flower garden. The whole plant is
edible from the bulb to the flower. It forms
a neat clump which will fill out nicely if you
kep cutting and using the leaves.

enough to try a little of the flavour. A mix of
flavours between mild chives and mild
garlic. The whole plant can be used, even

about 20 years ago. It forms evergreen

A rare pretty and edible plant for the border.
It has ferny leaves and pretty white flowers
in mid summer. It can be grown in any
moist but well-drained soil in full sun. The
roots can be eaten raw or cooked, the
leaves as parsley and the seeds are a cumin
substitute.
